Why is there a pending charge on my account?

There are a couple of reasons why you may be seeing a pending charge on your account:
1. If the billing zip code we have on file does not match the one on your credit card, an authorization hold (something similar to a pending charge) will be applied to your card.
No need to worry — this will be resolved and removed from your account within 3-5 business days. You do not need to take any action.
2. Sometimes folks experience a little difficulty getting their order to go through on the first try. If your payment information was filled out and you hit the "Place Order" button, but you get an error message and the order doesn't go through, you may see an extra false charge on your account. These charges say "pending" or "processing", have the same total as your order, and usually disappear within 1-2 business days.
